Founded in 1980, Totnes School of English - TANDEM Totnes is a small, owner-run English language school which offers fast, efficient service, personal attention and a full and unforgettable English learning experience.
Through our excellent tuition in mixed nationality classes, unique Thursday afternoon workshops, full social program, friendly local host families and productive TANDEM partnerships, we make it possible for you to meet local English people and practise your English in a natural and integrated way that makes learning easy!
The key to our English language school is our personal approach to every student and our friendly, family atmosphere, which is a welcome change from the impersonal, rigid approach of the big chains and franchises.
Totnes School of English - TANDEM Totnes offers year-round English Courses for adults in our historic Gate House premises where we have seven sunny and well-equipped teaching rooms, a student common room with free internet and wireless access, a small kitchenette and a small library.
We are in the centre of Totnes within easy walking distance of cafes and interesting shops, and the tranquil green surrounds of the local church where students eat their lunch in fine weather.
