«Paella», the world famous rice dish, is original from Valencia. In fact, «Paella» is a Valencian word that means «frying pan» and stands for «rice cooked on a pan». If you think there are only two kinds of paella (seafood and chicken paella) then you are totally wrong! In Valencia we eat rice at least three times per week and we have an infinite number of different rice dishes: Vegetable Paella, Duck Paella, Lobster Paella, Crab Paella, Turnip and Beans rice, Black rice and Oven rice!
