TANDEM Cologne: German Courses in Cologne

TANDEM Cologne is located in the southern part of the city centre, the so-called Südstadt, one of the most popular parts of Cologne. From the central train station it takes only 10 minutes in the underground to get to «Chlodwigplatz», the heart of this cosmopolitan quarter. It is lively and varied, with pleasant parks, a modern harbour promenade a long the river Rhine, small shops, restaurants with traditional cuisine from Cologne and other parts of the world, and there are bars and cafes on almost every street corner. Many cultural traditions are still celebrated around Chlodwigplatz today. No wonder – this is the birthplace of the famous Cologne Carnival!

The school itself is located in a former monastery and consists of 9 bright and quiet classrooms, an open-plan office, a kitchen where tea, coffee and soft drinks are offered, and a small garden – ideal for the breaks. We offer free Internet access through our computers and WiFi through their own laptops.
