Italian Course Program in Milan the whole year round

Several types of courses are offered at our Italian language school in Milan. Our group courses begin at the start of each calendar month – however it is possible to join a course at any time (except for complete beginners). The organisation and didactic content of all offered levels is based upon the guidelines of the CEF (Common European Framework) – from A1 to C2.

Our classes have an average of 6-7 students and a maximum of 10 participants. Each academic hour lasts 60 minutes.

Our standard group courses are fully-immersive and use carefully selected audio-visual materials to move from the spoken language to grammar. The goal is to enable the student to interact in Italian in their day-to-day life as soon as possible. They are held in the morning, from Monday to Friday for 2 or 4 hours per day.

Our combined courses are designed for those who want to focus on progressing as quickly as possible in their language studies (e.g. over a 1-2 week period), making the most of time on hand. They comprise of 4 hours of group lessons per day, followed by 1 hour of private tuition daily, in which the material studied in class can be reviewed and strengthened, or time can be spent on specialised vocabulary and register (economic, financial, legal, scientific, artistic etc.).

We provide a free level test upon enrolment to ensure that each student is placed in the appropriate course.

• GM40: Standard Italian language courses - 10 lessons / week. 
• GM80: Intensive Italian language courses - 20 lessons / week 
• Long-Term Intensive Italian language courses - 20 lessons / week; min. 12 weeks 
• Combined Italian language course - 20 lessons / week + 5 individual lessons 
• Specialised group courses (Design, Fashion, Art, Cuisine)

We also offer preparatory Courses for C.I.L.S and C.E.L.I. examinations, non intensive Italian language courses, evening courses, corporate courses, online courses via Skype and Italian language courses for special groups.

Classes begin throughout the year. You choose the length of the course that best fits you.

Academia Uruguay offers 8 different levels of classes (from "Beginner" to "Very Advanced") to meet the special requirements and enhance the learning of each and every student. Learning sessions take place in group classes. Every level has its own communicative, grammatical and pragmatic objectives. On every level, professors use a great variety of learning situations, mixing oral communication and listening comprehension using audio and video, text reading, etc.

Every level has one part of its content dedicated to social, cultural and political life in Uruguay and to Uruguay's and Latin-America's history.

Cultural Activities in Santiago, Chile

Learning a new language also means learning about a different culture and way of life. That's why we organize a wide range of activities to allow you to obtain deeper insight into the Chilean culture and give you a chance to get to know Santiago and the surrounding nature.

Our Culture Program takes place on several afternoons and evenings during the week.

The activities are held in Spanish allowing you further opportunity to practice and improve your knowledge of the language.

TANDEM Meeting

Every Thursday night we invite everybody to join the open meeting at a pub in Bellavista where people from the school and from outside the school meet for a talk, having a drink and having fun.

TANDEM Exchange

Every Wednesday we organize a free group activity between our English learners at school and the Spanish students. The activities are programmed by two teachers and are aimed to practice Spanish and English during 45 minute each language using role-plays and games.

Excursion Program

Every weekend we offer interesting travel options of one or several days, including tours to Valparaíso, Viña del Mar, Isla Negra (Museum of Pablo Neruda), the Palm Forest National Park of La Campana in the coast range, and different National Parks in the Andes mountain range. For those who wish, there is also a 3 day trip to the desert island Isla Damas in the Atacama Desert with its marine wildlife, where you can observe Dolphins, penguins, sea lions and many seabirds or simply enjoy the turquoise coloured water and the white sand beach in the bay.
