1. How is the high season going?
We are very happy with the flow of students this year. The high season is always an exciting time for everyone, not only for the students but for the staff too. Each summer has a different feel, but we can always count on our faithful returning students to create a great atmosphere.
2. What developments do you expect in 2015?
We hope to receive more students from even more different nationalities 😉 Quality instead of quantity is our main drive
3. Anything new this year?
We have organized special French courses to prepare for the official exams Delf / Dalf, because more and more students or professionals need to certificated their French level.
Furthermore, we now offer a course of French for University Studies during the summer to prepare students for University Studies and be more relaxed to face it.
Last but not least, we have just launched our Online French course, to brush up on your French before or after your courses here in Montpellier.
4. Where do the majority of your students come from?
From Europe mainly (Spain, Germany, Italy, UK …), but we are happy to see more and more South Americans. We welcome more than 40 different nationalities each year and we want to keep on increasing the diversity.
5. What are your most popular student activities at your school?
The welcome drink and the guided tour of Montpellier every Monday at school, a good way for the new participants to mingle with the ones already at the school and to feel at ease right from the first day.
Also, the cooking club, the wine and cheese tasting, and the excursions like in Saint Guilhem-le-Désert, Nîmes or Avignon are very popular.
6. What makes your destination special for your students?
Our exceptional location! L’institut Européen de Français is at the heart of Montpellier in two mansions listed as a French Building heritage. The busy heart of the city is at your fingertips: restaurants, coffee shops, exhibitions, cinemas … all this, just a few steps away! And Montpellier is the biggest pedestrian area of France!
Not forgetting Montpellier is at 10 kilometers from the Mediterranean sea 🙂
7. 3 things that make your French language school special for your students?
The professionalism and the quality of our services: our teachers are all highly qualified specialists of teaching French as a Foreign language.
A very friendly and family atmosphere and the personalized attention: before, during, but also after the stay, we attach particular attention to the student’s satisfaction. Whatever they request, we make every effort to respond as well as possible to their expectations.
Our kindness: It will be up to you to judge … 😉
